What is your dream? Tomorrow is affected by what we do today. Nathan talks to four young men of our church and hears and affirms the call of God on their lives. He also looks into the life of Samson  ( Judges 13)  to se his call and how he made poor decisions in relation to that dream. The decisions we make today, do matter! They are steps towards or away from our goals. (Matt 7:13-14).

Are you annoyed, frustrated, overwhelmed, tense or worn-out? Brenden shares the simple solution. Using an orange step-ladder he encouraged us to view our world from God’s perspective. Take a couple of steps up:- and get into the Word, pray, exercise and refresh, leave problems with God and be accountable.

Nathan uses his unique gift to flesh out the story of the rich young man in Mark 10:17-27.

He brings us to the emotions which this man must have experienced as he is told to “go and sell all.” Nathan looks at this man’s identity, where it is based and who he is when he comes back to Jesus. Next Nathan highlights four men’s lives from the viewpoint of what happens after they are shattered and how God uses them.

Our pastor reminds us we are on a journey of growing in our understanding of who we are as Christians. Leo shares great insight into the Father’s heart for intimacy with each of us. He gives us examples from his own childhood and contrasts his fathering model.

Leo points us to pillars of truth which he knows will stabilize us in our faith. Also, the concepts of “only begotten” and “first born” as they refer to Jesus, are opened up for us afresh.

Our ‘God-established’ identity is examined and expanded on, starting with the most fundamental truths. Leo clears out some false notions we may have let creep into our thinking. He shows us where mankind lost their true image and how we can be restored to the likeness our Creator always intended for us to walk in. Wonderful revelation is here for us to see our glorious position we adopt, as children of God, as we are in Christ.

The message continues revealing who we are in Christ Jesus. We receive what the Word says we are. We are destined to be fruitful, ruling, overcoming, blessed, increasing, growing and prospering. We apply the Word to our lives, not only to read it, and God’s design in us will become reality. Where ever we go we build on the Rock- “Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God.” Matt 16:16

Leo poses some interesting questions. Who are we? Where does our ‘script’ come from? Where do I find my identity? We see in science we have only one set of DNA, fingerprints, signature etc. We are individually a ‘one of a kind’, so how do I be the best me, I can be? Leo connects the dots for us today to see our identity in our purpose which is in Christ.  James 1:19-25 Shows us the true image for us is in the Mirror- our God ordained identity.

Leo examines Heb11 and the heroes of the faith starting at verse 8. Points 14-23.

Continuing with the lives of God’s great leaders such as Abraham, we look at what faith means in their lives. Leo weaves in stories of present day heroes who the Lord has lead on exciting journeys of faith. This is an inspiring message about living on the cutting edge in the supernatural power of Faith.

Leo takes us from point 8 to 14 in a powerful study of faith in Heb chapter 11.

8 -Faith is how we approach God. We are welcomed.

9 -Faith pleases God. We are in a relationship.

10-Faith teaches us we are rewarded if we seek after God.

11-Faith warns about the judgment to come.

12-Faith helps us build for our loved ones.

13-Faith is like a Trust fund we inherit.

14-Faith helps us hear the call and respond.

Leo positions us to come to a deeper understanding of faith. In other words…trust. Jesus is the connector to the power source for our lives. Leo also talks about the ceilings we put on ourselves. When we have a true image of God…with no depression, no stress, no outbursts…we are on the road to taking authority in our world as He has destined us to.

Leo shares Lessons 9-12 of this series, revisiting the essential building blocks of prayer.

Fundamental truths relate to: Our delegated calling in prayer, our authority in prayer, specific focus in prayer, believing in prayer, faith in prayer, revealed knowledge in prayer, assurance in prayer and (12) developing a deeper relationship with God in prayer.

Leo recaps the essential points from Lesson 9 about Praying for labourers for the harvest. Lesson 10 looks at being Specific in Prayer. The illustration comes from the story of blind Bartimaeus who answers simply and specifically to his need. Mark 10:46.

Lesson 11 from Mark 11:12 Jesus curses the fig tree and it dies from the roots up. Many powerful truths are expounded here….. Remember the tightrope walker….

Leo continues on this vital subject of how we dialogue with God. He looks at the where and what we pray. Faith is important to guide us, not our feelings. Perseverance and patience, with love as the motivator, are demonstrated in Luke 11:5. Other scriptures studied are Matt 9:37 and 1 Tim 2:4. From the beginning of mankind we see authority and dominion. The answer for us is in ‘believing prayer’, in His will.

Eddie starts with Matt 28;18 –The Great Commission- encouraging us in the ministry of reconciliation. Many are confused and lost in a society where the moral compass has been shattered. Through personal testimony and experience Eddie gently invites us to come into a deeper understanding of our part in sharing God’s love.

Paul breathes life and humour into this favourite account from Mark 6:30. We see the weary Jesus looking for rest and yet, letting the needs of the crowd override His needs. He has compassion, looks beyond the physical and sees the need for a shepherd. The supernatural is released. He teaches, feeds and satisfies. The disciples take the little in their hands, which Jesus had blessed and it becomes more than enough. There is more here…

God is good. His plans for us are good. Just choose to believe the truth, not religion.

Leo summarizes what he has just shared on this topic and builds on the foundation laid.

Hindrances include; thinking small, not dreaming with God, lack of hard work, lack of action. Step out and take steps toward your goals. Dream with God.

Andrew brings practical, focused wisdom to current real life money matters. He looks at the problems our society faces and guides us with Biblical principles into financial peace related to the Prince of Peace. Andrew introduces advice from Dave Ramsay who is a very successful US financial advisor.  A few key concepts he covers are; saving, debt, contentment, giving and discipline.

Leo addresses many questions that arise about how and where we should direct our finances. He points to both Old and New Testament principles to guide us in making healthy decisions. Tithing is examined from every angle so we can see what it really means in today’s society. What are the present day ‘barns and storehouses’ the Word talks about?

Leo explains to us the principle of first fruits. He asks us to consider …Are we giving God our best or leftovers? Many aspects to this question are raised and answered. Leo also shares about the way GGC finances are spent and how they are working to further the Kingdom of God. Leo also looks at some of the reasons people may have chosen not to tithe in the past.

Brenden encourages us to think about the Bible. Where does it fit into your thinking?  Is it historical, textbook-style or fictional?  Which category best suits? This message includes many twists and turns and three testimonies about the relevance of the Word today.

Andy shares his insights into developing a lifestyle of worship. You will be amazed at the first instrument used in worship in the Bible. —Gen 22-5. There are a few real surprises here to take us to new places in worship.

Andy introduces us to his life as one who has studied worship for 19 years.

Leo continues this powerful teaching about our identity as children of the most high God. Blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, we are chosen in Him to be holy (set apart) and blameless. God calls us to a hope in Him: sonship, intimacy, access to the Throne, inheritance, power and knowledge.

There is so much to feed on here…you can follow along from Ephesians chapter one.

Leo opens up for us the riches in Ephesians, concerning the secret of the Gospel of the Kingdom. We are established in who we are in Christ. Jesus speaks over us to bless us (speak well over us). The great exchange is expounded for us to see that Jesus became sin so we could become righteous. We get what Christ deserved and He took what we deserved. There is great treasure here to hold us steady in the storms of life.

Don’t miss this…Leo fills in the blanks for us today. He puts together little pieces of the puzzle of the Gospel and shows us the elaborate plan of God for our destiny. There is more than we have seen before. We are walking in new fresh light each time we sit under the Word of truth. A profound overview from Genesis to now, and beyond, shows us how we can walk in the glory of God, as Adam and Eve did (before the fall), because of Jesus. Leo gives us a precious insight into the heart of God as Father as many of us have never known. We look at earthly fathers and their roles with their children and the Word shows us that this is a weak picture of how much the Lord loves and cares for each of us personally and specifically to our needs and desires. He loves unconditionally, is good, provides, goes ahead of us, sacrifices, corrects, guides and is perfect and true, always.

Leo continues to encourage us to focus on the word of God as our source of treasure. The words are seeds for life. Don’t forget the mighty hand of God which delivers us from our enemies, provides for all our needs, comforts and guides.

The spies of the Israelites came back with two differing reports. Like them we can choose to see the enemy defeated or defeating us. Which will we choose?

From Nathan came a life-giving message about a life full of promise and potential-in God’s best for us-(Jer 29;11)  Nathan showed us from the picture of the nation of Israel, God’s blessed nation, what they were in God:- a holy nation, priests, treasured, blessed with abundance, a blessing to all nations – and yet they …settled….

From Psalm 34 Leo encourages us all to live victorious lives. He poses these questions:-

How do you speak? …Life and death are in the power of the tongue…

How do you feel? …Don’t elevate feelings make them come into line with your thoughts.

How do you look? …Leo uses many amazing people to say- focus on your strengths …

What is your appetite? …Taste and see that the Lord is good…
